Catoosa Indians

Coach: John Coons

18-19 Record: 19-10

Five starters are back for the Indians this season and they are all seniors. Leading the way for head coach John Coons is J. Coons (6-4, Sr.), a dynamic player at forward. Coons is joined in the paint by Kobe Reimer (6-3, Sr.). Both guys are tough down low. Coons averaged 8.0 points and 7.0 rebounds while Reimer went for 6.0 points and 6.0 rebounds a game. Gavin Phillips (6-0, Sr.) is quick with the ball and can score from the perimeter. Last season Phillips averaged 12 points and 5.0 rebounds a game. Jackson Hall (6-2, Sr.) averaged 8.0 points at his guard spot and Stryker Daniel (6-0, Sr.) put in four points a game. Caleb Nibbelink (6-2, So.) is a young, but exciting prospect. Look for Braden Lee (6-7, Sr.) to see time at center and Josh Whistance (5-10, Jr.) to get in the game at guard. The coaching staff consists of Larry Replogle, John Yates and Colton Loomis.

Coach: Kayla Fourkiller

18-19 Record: 9-14

Autumn Miller (6-0, Jr.) returns for the Lady Indians this season after averaging 6.0 points and 10 rebounds per contest a year ago. Miller is joined by senior Delaney Labass (5-5, Sr.) who contributed 6.0 points, 2.0 assists and 3.0 rebounds as a sophomore. Faith Hopkins (5-6, So.) returns as the teams leading scorer adding 8.0 points and 8.0 rebounds a game. Forward Emma Roy (5-9, Jr.) could see her numbers increase this year. Last year she averaged 2.0 points with 4.0 rebounds a game. A pair of sophomores have worked hard to see the court this year. Jessica Benson (5-5, So.) and Jaycee Beach (5-3, So.) are fun to watch and should see the floor often. Jannah Lightfoot (5-4, Sr.) and Heaven Wollet (5-9, Sr.) are expected to have key roles off the bench, while Maridh McCleod (5-5, So.), Kelly Velazquez (5-5, Jr.) and Amelya Bergeron (5-6, So.) add depth to the roster. All three could see significant minutes this season.
