Victory Christian Football Feature – Presented by Advanced Orthopedics

The Victory Christian Conquerors had a great season last year, but had to say goodbye to many of their starting players after graduation. This leaves only one returning starter from last year to lead the offensive attack in quarterback Rayn Stafford (6-0, 170, Sr.). Stafford may also see action at wide receiver as pieces get moved around throughout the season. Solomon Byrams (5-5, 175, So.) will be one to watch at the running back position in this multiple spread offense.

The secondary is shaping up to be the strongest point of the Conquerors’ defense. Rayn Stafford brings his experience to the defensive side of the ball as well, moving from his strong safety spot last year to free safety. Landon Cichon (5-10, 175, So.) will look to fill the role of strong safety. “We are a young team,” said head coach Dub Maddox. “We have a good group coming up through the program. We are looking forward to developing them this season.” Maddox is joined on his coaching staff by Jonny Ulibarri, Doug Greenwood, Chad Case, Ted Davis and James Doctor.
