Empire Bulldogs Football Feature – Presented by Coaches Corner

Brant Hayes takes over as head coach for the Empire Bulldogs, describing the team as a “great group of kids, very hard-working, always wanting to get better every day.” The offense will focus on delivering a balanced attack while the line keys any success on this side of the ball. Noel Samiento (6-0, 225, Jr.) is essential in anchoring the O-line and protecting quarterback Mitchell Monteeth (6-1, 180, Jr.). Daniel Alvarez (6-3, 180, Jr.) returns at wide receiver. Payton Booth (5-10, 175, Sr.) continues to carry the load on the ground at running back.

The 3-1 defense has four starters back, including Payton Booth and Daniel Alvarez working in the secondary. This team will bring pressure and wreak as much havoc on opponents as they can. Clayton Kraus (6-2, 210, Sr.) plays an important role on the defensive line. Jackson Larrio (6-0, 200, Jr.) is a big defensive contributor at linebacker. Hayes is joined by assistant coach Braden Hill and adds Kenny Spingler as defensive coordinator.
