A new head coach is in town. Trevor Knight takes over the Wildcat football program and he’s excited for the upcoming season. “Our schedule gives us a chance to test our mettle right out of the gate,” said coach Knight. “Our ceiling is very high, it’s just a question if we will reach it or not.” Knight will run the spread offense featuring wide receiver Andrew Cano (6-2, 180, Sr.), a big upperclassman with big play potential. Running back Kirk Harrison (5-9, 155, So.) is young but talented enough to make an impact this season. The line features two stalwarts in Paris Holmes (6-2, 275, Jr.) and Ryan Reddick (6-2, 200, Jr.). Holmes will start at center while Reddick will play guard. Kaden Adkins (6-1, 185, Jr.) and Ganden Clark (5-8, 150, Jr.) will both see time at running back.

A pair of defensive ends will bookend the line and contain the edge. Tyler Toyekoyah (6-4, 230, Sr.) and Austin Willis (6-5, 220, So.) could have huge seasons this year for the Wildcats. Jacob Botone (5-9, 150, Fr.) will start at safety and will probably be the teams quarterback. Botone is athletic and quick on his feet. Holmes will start on the defensive line at nose with Rolando Lopez (5-8, 220, Sr.) switching out at the same position. Jorje Martinez (5-8, 155, So.) is in the secondary with Clark and Cano. Reddick and Adkins will be the linebackers in the 3-2 scheme.
