OFFENSE

The multiple set formation of the Trojans will return four starters. First-year head coach Aaron Marlatt is excited about the prospects of the offense with several quick, skill players. The play of tailback Alex Carter (6-3, 190, Jr.) will be important in setting the tone for the Trojans offense. The offensive line will be anchored by guards Jerrett Coleman (6-1, 225, Sr.) and Jayson Farrell (6-1, 240, Sr.) and center Kobe Bellows (5-10, 240, Jr.) will look to control the line of scrimmage. Koner Weir (6-0, 200, Jr.) will open holes for Carter from his fullback position. Gabe Sessoms (5-9, 170, Jr.) will get the starting nod at quarterback and will look to get the ball into the hands of his skill players.

DEFENSE

Coach Marlatt expects the Trojans to be solid up front led by Carter and Coleman at defensive end while Farrel will be at nose guard. Sharon-Mutual will have nice speed in the secondary behind the play of Brayden Woodie (5-8, 155, Sr.) and Gabe Sessoms. The 3-2 defense of Sharon-Mutual will rely heavily upon linebacker Koner Weir. Weir will need take more responsibility in his junior season and quickly develop into a leader for the Trojans to reach their goals. Look for the Trojans to make a push deeper in the playoffs with the returning experience on both sides of the ball.
