With a return to Class B the Panther community is excited for the prospects of the program and the upcoming season. Those expectations might be exaggerated due to the eight returning starters on the offensive side of the ball. The I-Formation of Foyil relies heavily upon the play along the line of scrimmage. Offensive linemen Matt Dennis (6-2, 280, Sr.) and Zach Meeks (5-11, 250, Sr.) will look to establish dominance on the line. There will be competition between Lloyd McKnight (5-11, 175, Sr.) and Caden Miller (5-9, 170, Sr.) at quarterback. Both are athletic players and can play other positions including running back. Fullback Gus Spence (5-10, 220, Sr.) is a battering ram that can open holes for whoever is behind him at running back. Throw in Stone Platt (5-9, 160, Jr.) at running back and the Panthers have plenty of options in the backfield.

Defensively the Panthers will expect the play of Caleb Lentz (5-9, 172, Sr.) to lead the way from the secondary. The odd-front defensive line of the Panthers should be strong with the play of Dakota Friend (6-0, 165, Sr.), Jared Pendergraft (5-8, 200, So.) and Dennis. Pendergraft will only show improvement in just his second season at the varsity level. The linebacking corps should be a strength while making plays sideline-to-sideline. Spence bring his power to the defensive side of the ball at linebacker. Kaleb Venable (5-8, 170, So.) is an up and coming player at linebacker for Foyil who should be a menace for opposing offensive coordinators as the season progresses.
